Website and Facebook Updates for Signs On The Go

by LubbockInternet Wed, May 09 2012 13:44

Signs On The Go has a new look! Signs On The Go is one of our oldest customers. We last built a new site for them in 2009. It was time for an update. Owner Gary Tucker wanted to achieve a couple of things with the rebuild. He wanted a fresh look, the ability to blog and a better way to post photos. We quickly decided that WordPress would be the way to go. The end result is a catchy site that gives them the ability to easily post news and photos to both their website and Facebook page. We decided the Facebook page needed an update as well, so we worked up a new profile pic and timeline cover. Visit both sites at www.signsonthego.com and www.facebook.com/signsonthego.

Google adds new +1 Button

by LubbockInternet Sat, April 23 2011 22:44

Google describes its new +1 button as a way to say "this is pretty cool" or "you should check this out". Much like the "like" button on Facebook which displays your approval for a brand, artist, or product, the Google button will show your "stamp of approval" to your friends and contacts in search results. The feature is intended to "give the right recommendations, at the right time, and in the right format" and users can choose who gets to see their +1's in their public Google profile. Google hopes that other websites will also jump on board by adding a +1 button. The button is slowly rolling out and it will be a few weeks before every user notices the addition. More from Google
